Popular Game
The games that I found most interesting were the games played by the children on the streets. Circle Game: The person who is “it” takes the ball and stands in center position. The other players draw circles around themselves and take position around the person who is “it.” The person who is “it” throws the ball towards the players, who then try to throw the ball back without letting it land into their own circles. However, while trying to do this, they are not allowed to use their hands or their arms; they can only touch the ball with their feet and heads. If the ball ends up inside the circle of one of the players, then that person becomes “it.” |

Services provided by the GovernmentThe Government provided two services for poor citizens of the empire. The first of which were only provided for poor Muslim families. The government would select a few families and allowed them to move up in the social class and gain a higher income. This was only done for benefit in the government. This is because the more money these people make the more money the government makes. Another Service the government provided was provided only for poor Orthodox Christian families. They selected a family at random out of every 40 families, to send a boy from ages 8-20 to be sent a christian boarding school to be educated. These services were the charity services the government provided for its citizens.
